A new MoneyTree Report is being released this evening, showing that annual VC investment dollars have declines for the first time in three years. The study, which as conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), based on data from Thomson Reuters; reports that there were $26.5 billion put into in 3,698 VC deals in 2012, a decrease of 10 percent in dollars and a 6 percent decline in deals over the prior year.
