New Mexico fire grows, forces evacuation

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. ? A massive wildfire in Gila National Forest is getting even bigger.

Fire officials say the Whitewater-Baldy Complex fire grew by several thousand acres Saturday to an estimated 100,000 acres. That's more than 150 square miles.

The blaze is in remote and difficult terrain and is being fueled by strong and erratic winds.

Firefighters say that so far, containment is still 0 percent,.

The evacuation of Mogollon, a privately owned ghost town, was ordered Saturday due to extreme wind.

Cities as far away as Albuquerque are under a health alert until Sunday afternoon due to smoke from the fire, which has spread across the state.
