There are an astounding number of reasons why tablets are never going to full replace laptops or traditional computers. Computers go quite a long ways back in time, and throughout time they have remained the dominant way for people to perform their computing needs. With the recent technology boom there are so many devices that are coming out. These are things like smartphones, and tablets such as the iPad. There is always going to be new technology that comes out to replace the old stuff. Tablets are very useful, and they have many purposes. There is this new craze that is driving many people in the world including the biggest electronics manufacturers. This craze is the mobile craze, and it means big business for electronics sellers.

People today want everything to be mobile, and multitasking is something that almost everyone does. Tablets are great for mobile computing, and this is because they contain just the right amount of power to allow people to do the simple things. The thing is, that is really all tablets are good for is the simple things. Tablets will continue to advance as technology advances. They will become smaller, more portable, and will contain much more efficient processing power than their previous models. However, laptops will continue to do the exact same thing. Laptops are also going to become smaller, and much more powerful than the models produced before them.

It is because of the fact that laptops as they sit now are an actual computer. This means they have so much more that tablets do not have. They have a huge range of features that are just not currently possible with tablets. It is because of the way technology is laid out that makes this the way it is. A free laptop, as well as an expensive laptop that is not free is always going to be adapting with technology. Tablets will continue to do the same as technology advances, but it is because laptops are currently built to be the one stop shop for computing that is the way it is going to stay. An example of this would be the tablet that is currently half way done with the race. Laptops are built naturally so that they are basically already three quarters of the way done with the race, which puts them ahead of the tablets technologically.

Even if in ten years tablets have obtained enough power to do everything laptops can do right now, because of the current technologic places both types of devices are in, the laptop is always going to come out on top. Tablets are not to be mistaken for useless devices, because they are indeed very useful. The tablets of today are some of the most advanced pieces of technology that are available in the world today. However, this technology works best in mobile on the go situations where more features and computing power are not needed by the end user. This in its essence is the main reason why tablets are never really going to replace laptops for computing purposes.
