Car pile-up in four-vehicle crash

Four cars have been involved in a collision in Swansea which left one of them perched on top of another.

South Wales Police said a 22-year-old local man was arrested after the pile-up on Pontardulais Road, Fforestfach.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 1416 BST on Saturday, when they found the rear half of one vehicle on the windscreen of another.

One of the vehicles runs on liquid petroleum gas, and firefighters were checking whether its tank was ruptured.

Emergency services said there was no indication that anyone had suffered serious injuries.

Police said inquiries were continuing into the circumstances.
