Learning Easy Meditation Techniques | London Self Improvement

Meditation is an ability that one must gain in order to live without stress. Meditation enables us to get rid of all the negative thoughts we have. Learning easy meditation techniques will allow us to take control of our thoughts and what we let our mind think of. After mastering the art of meditating, we will be able to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Therefore we can be relieved rather than bothered, relaxed rather than worried, and most importantly happy, rather than depressed.

Generally, meditation is the the human ability to relax by getting rid of bad thoughts.?Here are the basic steps in meditation to help you understad it more.

  • Do a simple breathing meditation

In meditation, breathing is important. This will start to make you take control of your thoughts. To begin, find a location that is peaceful, meaning it should be totally quiet. The most important part of meditation is a quiet area. For beginners, noise will just make your meditation impossible to begin. When you already have a perfect location, look for your most comfortable position. Being in cross sitting position is what most people are most comfortable with. Be in whatever position you want, just make sure that you are comfortable with it. One more thing, to avoid being sleepy you should maintain a straight back.

We do breathing meditation by closing our eyes and focus in breathing. As you do this, thoughts will automatically enter you mind, and this shall be almost impossible to avoid. Just return your focus to breathing every time this will happen. Do this every time until you can control your concentration on breathing. This is to help you learn how to control what enters your mind.

  • Have a conscious knowledge of your worries

While in a state of breathing meditation, keep track of what enters your mind. So not focus on any thought. What you simply need to do is to let them pass by your mind freely.. This is to make you aware of what you are unconsciously thinking.?This can actually include all your problems and everything that occupies your mind. Remember, recognizing your problems is the first step in eliminating them, and this will also lead you to personal and spiritual growth.

  • Learn how to be in a mental state called hypnogic state

Hypnogic is the state of mind between sleeping and dreaming. To do this, lie down at your back and hold one arm up. This is to give you pure knowledge on your thoughts. Your one arm is raised so that when you fall asleep it will fall down to wake you up.

  • Say your thoughts out loud

You cannot get rid of something you do not know. So you cannot eliminate worries if you do not start by recognizing them. As you master the first steps in meditating, proceed to taking it to the next level. This time, acknowledge each thought that enters your mind by saying them out loud. As often as you do this, you will soon realize that every time you acknowledge your worries, it goes away from your mind.

For you to be a master in meditation, you must undergo continuous practice. Repetition is a big help. Another important thing is that, you do not proceed to the next step without having to master the previous steps. Meditation is effective in relieving our minds from stress. What are needed are concentration, focus, and determination. If you have all these, you will be able to activate the power of subconscious?and be able to master meditation.
